Yeah Tom's a bit of a YZ-A specialist. I bought my YZ-B clutch cover off him yonks ago. I think 15k is fair money considering the small number produced and the cult following they have. The sad side is that we don't see too many of them racing any more (if ever) as they've become too valuable to ding up. Back in the first wave of VMX from '88-99 there were two or three 360's racing in Sydney and at least one in Queensland. One of the Sydney bikes was Col Brightwells 360B motor fitted to a YZ250-A roller (
these were the days when the B wasn't yet legal for pre 75) and the other two were the real deal owned by brothers from new.....both were eventually sold to the USA I was told. Another racer built up a pretty decent YZ360-A tribute bike using a YZ-A 250 roller that'd been to hell and back with a horrible stick welded angle iron lay down shock conversion*, fitted with an RT2MX motor. That bike still exists, gathering dust under a tarp in country NSW but the owner won't sell it because he "is thinking of doing some dirt track on her"
.

I got the gig of bringing it back to original and recall shuddering that somebody could do such a shit job of butchering such a rare bike. I also modified the RT2MX pipe so it'd fit the YZ frame.
