Suzuki RM465 Parts
« on: March 24, 2013, 11:43:47 am »
Well I finally sold the RM465X and now I have some NOS bits left over that I won't be needing.

1.0mm OS Rocky Cycles piston kit - come with piston, ring, gudgeon pin and circlips. P/N 05-6913 brand new $150
Genuine Suzuki gaskets - 2 x centre case, 2 x clutch cover, 2 x cylinder base, 3 x head, 1 x magneto, 1 x exhaust manifold gaskets. All new never used $75 for all of them
Genuine Suzuki swingarm chain slider # 61273-14203. Brand new never used $35..... SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
Genuine Suzuki O rings - 6 x # 09280-22003 $10 with free post..... SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
Genuine Suzuki spring -  rear brake pedal #09448-31024-XC0 $10 with free post..... SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
Genuine Suzuki clamp - #09402-56901 $10 with free post..... SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
Genuine Suzuki chain adjuster plate - #64712-14301 $10 with free post..... SOLD PENDING PAYMENT

Also have 1 second hand rubber airbox drain - original part # is 13860-14200. Has a small on one side, if used on the clutch side airbox you wouldn't see it. $ make offer

I'd imagine some of these will work on a 500 too. Feel free to make an offer on the whole lot. Not here to make a million dollars or rip off anyone. I'll box and post for what it costs or we can organise pick up/ drop off. I don't need these anymore so they can go to someone that can use them. PM if interested.

Hi Justin,

I got the $4k that it was advertised for. It wasn't going anywhere for less, regardless of what the market says.

I would have thought it would have gone for a bit more than that as you had obviously done a pretty special job of it.

I am keeping my Z for a bit longer and was hoping I would get 5K+ in a few years time, I understand the market though dictates much of this

My wife see's it sitting there and thinks .......mmmmm .........a deposit on a nice new kitchen, I see it sitting there and see a deposit on a nice late model BMW GS1200 as a 50th birthday pressie in a few years!

Best of luck with any future projects and thanks for your advice over the last few years

Cheers

Hey AdamN will that piston kit fit my IT 490 bro and does it have any holes drilled in the skirt because if it doesn't I can use my cordless and drill a few 1/2" holes. Me and my cousins are doing a run to Auburn Maccas on Friday night so I need a piston. Shame you sold you RM because I wanted to race you with my IT 490 ;)
Let's face it some dirt bikes were never meant to be ridden.
