Some early Aussie 80's

Doing a bit of scanning - mags are starting to deteriorate.
So while at it, thought I would post some.

This is from an "Australian Motorcycle News" mag called "Australian motocross buyers guide" around 1983.

Goof on a YZ490K

Goof CR480RD

Trev Williams on Maico 490

Vaughn Style, Trev Williams, Ray Vandenburg, Mike Landman

These pics were uploaded at "Imageshack", which wont automatically shrink the resolution like "Photobucket" does.
Photobucket is a joke.

82-83 sure was at the pinnacle of 'our' era that's for sure. Looking through the lists there are not too many that are not still mentioned in day to day conversations at VMX.
And what a great bunch of guys they are still.

Cheers Ray.
I think the Yanks call this their "Golden Age" of Motocross.
No doubt, I thinks its Australia's Golden Age period as well.

Thanks for that.
Checked out the Bayliss Classic online, and think I spotted Vaughan in a photo wearing a yellow fox jersey, standing in the back-right row of a group shot  ?
Nice to know hes still having a go.
