Do they ever hold any vmx meets here? I was there on the weekend having a look at the Shell series. Beautiful looking track

Im told by John that their is meant to be a VMX meeting this year there If so I will try hard to be there one of my all time Fav tracks.
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

I remember sneaking out of bording school a couple of years in a row to watch the big guns at the Mountain Man and Mr MX there..Jeff Leisk on the first watercooled CR500 in the country  :o :o :o the matterhorn was sooooobig in those days.

I did Mountain Man from 86 to 90 , 86 was the best track layout I raced there, watching Leisk there in 88 was truly awesome in the second race when he got knocked down in the first turn and come back to first after 3 laps is still burnt into my memory, I have never raced a open class bike there so If I make it this year Ill bring 2.

I've raced there in the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's and soon the 10's. And seen many a good battle between the stars of the era's. Shite i must be old :o
