u,d have to be lucky , i bought a complete wr 500  to get a 4ot clyinder , and as luck would have it , it,s on it,s last hole , re sleive will be the only way ,if it was raining naked women i,d get hit with a couple of lesbians , the next bloke will have one given to him by his neighbour

I always get lucky.  Still,  with this girl,  she is 60 thou oversize.
Thats gotta be 4th Oversize right?

u might be lucky as u say , 20 thou is about .5mm ? if so u get one more , 60 over is 88.5mm ,? 89mm is the last wiesco, makes it about 508 cc

Hi lms...,  thanks for your reply.  Have checked it by hand/seems a little loose.  I might need to go to the final piston. 

I have verniers,  but what dos one need to measure the piston slack?  I should say here,  that there is a few visable scratches on the piston,  but no goudges.  Have you or anyone else experiemted with resleeving?  If so,  is there AUS engine shops that do resleeving?

Many Thanks In advance.  Post Script.  I have a very good 2nd O/S piston and barrel,  but there is a hairline crack around the lower cylinder mount.  Can this be welded succesfully?  (can provide photo is nec.)
