Dear firko,
Not too many years ago, 5 were the known ones like mine. The particular configuration used in the tooling of my unit was produced for the promotional era races for RM 250 and 370 series pre-release at the particular events where the modifications were being implemented . The value is in the uniqunes of the collectible item. To quote a friend; "You really should have known".
Dear firko,
I just like the unique adaptation of this unit and that it is correct for the time of it's construction by the works for the Suzuki factory riders. I had a, then new, 1974 TM-125L growing up. This RH unit is as some of the japanese factory riders rode, but for the front wheel, which is a production one I assume. The LTR transition was leaped in this configuration with pre-production suspension and steering parts and a similar, but smaller capacity and shape aluminum RM style fuel tank, while retaining (till the last) low RH expansion chamber exhaust pipe (original stinger used without silencer). Uniqueness and quality are factors to include with sentiment based on knowledge to arrive at something of monetary value for these machines. Thanks for your offer, friend but the first listing here drew 25,1000 USD and did not reach minimum. That listing was with a reserve and this one starts less than that reserve amount. Take care and ride safe.
