Lovely all the same,

A friend not too far away from this forum recently picked up some "Bully Parts" an old mate of his dads had promised him years earlier. Apparently the old fella had sold his home and was moving into a granny flat at his daughters place up the coast and needed the parts picked up pronto. Most of the stuff was the usual old siezed up old Mk4 Pursang and Metralla engine parts, a couple of old frames, wheels and shit but standing out like dogs goolies was a genuine TSS Bultaco fitted with a Bandito engine and set up for dirt track. It appears to be mostly all there and much of the missing road race parts including the tank and seat were in a series of boxes.....unfortunately the TSS motor had long gone, even before the old fella's ownership. I've made attempts to buy the bike, made some serious offers actually but to no avail. My friend says he is waiting to see if the enthusiasm fairy lands on his shoulder before he does something he might later regret ::).

As a past owner of a similar R60 they are an extremely pleasurable machine to own and ride. Run like an electric motor and handle very well once you get used to the feel. And a thing of beauty.
 Only thing is ..no guts.
I think would benifit enormously from the fitting of a cam by Ernst Hoske, like the one I fitted to my road racer R50 about 1966 or so.
 Cheers pancho.
dont follow me i'm probably off line!
