Suburb of Geelong. Never seemed funny until you pointed it out. I grew up around it.

Thanks mate, no ferrets, a set of wheels for the actual 'Mainline' . I still have to check offsets to see if they'll fit though.

Yep, cleaned up the shed a bit and got re-inspired. Always a big mistake to start using a car project as a storage facility

Show us some pics of your ute mate, i'd love to see it no matter how good or bad she is. My father is big in the cusso club here in vic, he's got a white 55 and blue over white 58 star.

Here's a pic from a while back, althought it hasn't changed much since. I bought it as a $400 wreck and replaced the sills and floors, rebuilt the chassis, added front disc brakes etc. Then decided to customise it 50's style. Chopped the roof 2+ inches to suit a hardtop windscreen, added pontiac tailights, scoops to the sides, and deleted the door handles (so basically did nothing as Ted says ::) )

Then the young fella was born, so I bought an FX ute so I'd have something interesting to drive while I worked on the Mainline, which meant I spent too much time tweaking the FX instead.

Then got into VMX and restored a couple of bikes. So basically it's been about 6 years since I've done anything to it.

Cheers, Brendan
