3/4 New expansion chamber. RM? 370?
« on: February 12, 2013, 02:11:02 pm »
Have had this pipe kicking around the shed for years.  Thought I may have had a use for it one day, but now sick of tripping over it.

I was told it may be RM 370? Not sure if header pipe looks big enough though, could be 250? Can anyone identify it?

It's a bloody good pipe but some silly bugger cut the end off! ::).  Whats left is perfect except for some surface rust measels. In one photo you can see that 30 secs with my trusty sander cleaned it up well. It has no signs of ever being on a bike.  It looks OEM going by the seam welds (daggy Japanese)

If you can identify it and put it to good use then it's yours for what you think it is worth.

Hooiik!!!

Sorry I can't properly identify the pipe as then it may be easier to move.  I was told it was Suzuki.  Still, I can't believe no one is interested in an unused new pipe for a song!  All I want is to find someone who can make good use of it rather than me having to bang my head on it swinging from the rafters. (its the pipe doing the swinging not me, maybe thats why the end is cut off!!)  :o :o

Did I say it was for free!

It looks pretty close to my RM465 pipe which is pretty crappy, might be able to cut and shut. Still available? Interested!
Cheers,

Sorry guys it's on the way to AL161.  He's hoping it's a CR pipe.  If it's not he may want to pass it on?

Big thanks to Barra, a very nice bloke. As he suggests, if it doesn't suit my needs I will pass it on ......and JohnnyO will be in big trouble....somehow I think it will be right because JO knows his sh1t.
