YZ250C Paint Scheme
« on: February 07, 2013, 01:25:04 pm »

A little close to MX250b, but considering going for this.

What's the deal with it?.  All the ones I have seen are yellow :-\

Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

"My inability to use emoticins in the right context is really getting me down :)
The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

Thanks John.  I don't mind the look of it.
Odd that the Euro colurs didn't come here for that model

the yz250c's we got in nz that year "76 were yellow too, [had one new but preferred the white [what we were used to], mx250b the year before was white down here & to be honest i enjoyed that bike more despite little mechanical difference [annoying retarding off ignition at high revs to stop over-revving it, [i over-advanced the backplate to help that [naughty boy]. Japs were paying the shop a visit while i had the bike on the bench so i put it too them after strobing to which they said [we do that to stop customer blowing up motor]. [i want top end grrr--like the year before] Sorry getting away from the question [what was it again!!] Cheers.
ps, back in the 125G [maybe it was the H or maybe both as G was first with mag on the right side] had a looped wire in the wires that exiting the cdi box which you snipped to let it rev out fully, nobody told us about this [ie yamaha] until well past their current model use by date [dumb arse us i suppose], i knew what i was doing but didn't know there was an easy cure. By memory it was a black with a red tracer that came out & went back in. I'm sure the aussie's would have been onto it though but we weren't into modifying much back then. Double Cheers.
