That helps me too SMed, as i am looking to replace the 23 on my RZ. I knew there were some XR that would fit it, but was not sure.

No worries guys,I use the powersportspro site quite a bit for cross referencing,If you go to the main site look up oem parts for your brand find the part # & then type the number into the parts search then click on select model :)

Thanks Geoff.
I think the XL250S is probably the only one with that type of backing plate because the lug on the fork leg and the groove in the backing plate are horizontal. All others are vertical.
Regardless, I bit the bullet and got the correct front end for it with help from TT5Matt.
It looks much better now.  ;)
