At this stage im a goer, im not sure i have the room, unless i take a trailer and someone pays for the boat for it and you can fill it up.    cause im already taking 3 bikes and 2 motors and rims.   IF i can get Walter to take a bike for me i can slot it in or at least the motor stuff

i tried walter and i get the feeling he is a no starter so i might be your only hope, i have paid for the van on the boat, but if you can upgrade it and pay for a trailer i can take one for you filled with anything you like it would be a cover race trailer would fid about 4 bikes plus parts, or if you have a trailer i can stick it in that to melbourne and had it over o somewhere there who has space ? maybe 090 could meet me and stick it on the pantec ?

Thanks Freaky. I've just pulled the engine down this morning to give an accurate desciption and it's stuffed and not worth selling. I should have done that before posting the advert.  However, just that engine may still need a lift to Tassie. Can you fit just an engine in?

Should be OK too im not sleeping on the way over so if its loose i should be able to pack it away in sectiuons around everything else.

Im going to lay out all my shit in a week or so to see what i need to take, including spare tyres for the van. IF i can fit it in  or at least some i will.   Im also considering taking out the front seat, does anyone no if its against the law to take out the front seat of a car and drive on Aussie roads ? im a bit dumb on road rules.  That will give me room for my toolbox and free up some spare up front.

Geeze ... I must be a total arsehole cause i have had no response re: a pilot into MElbounre Docks or sharing accom in tassie.......

Hey Freaky after my road trip last week i am never gonna go anywhere without a  GPS. The last thing you need after a long drive is farting around trying to find street names . I dont think i will be goin to tassie . And i'm a long way from that side of town . Just follow the signs to melbourne and when you go over the westgate bridge get in the left and take the Todd rd exit . 2 lefts and you go back under the bridge and follow the signs for the Ferry to Tassie. Go hard.

What about those stupid toll things ? will i avoid them i dont want any surprises in the mail when i come home.  I got a Tom tom but they still take you weird places some times.

Freaky , I am not a no starter . I am waiting on a MA decision on Sidecars thats all . When we go , there is plenty room in the track , but I have to be back in Adelaide by the 13 .6 to catch my plane to BK .
Buy a GPS , I just borrowed Mainly Maicos to get home from Sydney and it nocked off 5 Hours  and $200 in fuel. It avoids the the toll if you wish and stops you from speeding .

Yep i got a tom tom. but local knowlege is better specialy in peak hour, toll gates and panicing about missing the boat cause you hit traffic snare.  I just though it would be cool to travel on with someone.

OH... ok on the no go thing i thought you said you where waiting on sidecars and i thought someone said there where no entries at all? which i took as you were n't going.   Are you going to ride or going to watch,  regardelss of the MA thing walter ?

i have work on the Wed so ill be back way before the 13th.  any room would be good i got a spare bike id like to take and then there is Tony t's to go with us to FBC.    Would be great if we could send them with you.
