Should be 200ml each leg.  SAE 20W-SAE 50W that is what the husky book says.

Why dont you play with the oil level and see what difference it makes to the forks initial plushness. Lower the level the more air and the more springy the air column. The higher the level the less air column and the initial travel will be harsher. Or that's the theory anyway  ;D ;D

Start with the 200 ml per leg advice and go up or down from there.

Damping is a function of oil viscosity and speed of fork movement. Can be adjusted by changing oil weight. if you want a better more modern damping action action however then fit a cartridge emulator kit such as Race Tech Gold Valves  or YSS PD valve kit.

Of course if your weight is wrong for the fork springs then you will never be happy  ::)
