Special Parts Bucket List
« on: January 18, 2013, 11:35:51 am »
I've reached the point where I do not have the desire to buy any more bikes and will sell a few this year, but there are still some special parts that are on my Bucket List.  What items are you still lusting after?

Here's my top five:

1.Mugen ME360 kit
2.Mugen ME125RZ kit
3.Simons UDX-60 Forks
4.Luft Rez Shocks (RM125B)
5.Moto-X Fox Head and Pipe (RM125B)
The "Factory Novice"
California, USA

'74 Suzuki TM100, '75 Bultaco 250 Pursang, '77 Honda XR75, '77 Suzuki RM125B, '77 Yamaha YZ400D, '79 Honda CR250RZ Moto-X Fox Replica, '83 Honda ME480RD Mugen

* a Jones DT1 magnesium clutch cover
* a Jemco downpipe for a 360 Yamaha tracker
* A set of variable rake alloy triple clamps to suit 34mm forks ( there are shitloads out there for 35 and larger forks)
* A YZ 360A motor or transmission.
* a 650 Yamaha motor, preferably an electric start model.
* A Noguchi Yamaha YZ125A head. (or FMF Porcupine head for the same) (or even one of those DG anodized things.)
* Go fast and dress up bibs and bobs for a T100 unit Triumph motor.
* Any GYT DT1/RT1 Yamaha parts, especially the original square front number plate.

A 78/79 GS Alloy Maico fuel tank. Please.

My "Special Parts List" would be the parts list for the overseas bike I bought and paid for a month ago, to be stripped, packed and posted as parts. As per the agreement made with the seller >:(

Mind you on the up side, he has given me a great start on my upcoming new book

Making some calls about an XS650 engine for ya Firko ,has the TX750 barrel conversion bit done and electric starter*  Edit sorry gone now

* Waste of time really as you may know they had one of the most gutless starters ever, unless you fitted a monster car battery and at least 57 relays to make it turn over  albeit very slowly :D

Bucket list? A set of CR carbies for the 754 to replace the stolen ones, A 1973/4 Cr125 rolling frame or parts thereof to suit SL125 Engine and a rolling CB500four to make a desert racer. Cheers.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
