The NSW Blues will win the State of Origin, my beloved South Sydney Wabbits will win the premiership and the team that define the very word frustration, the Waratahs will win the Super 14. The Wallabies will win the Bledisloe Cup, the Rugby Championships and beat the British Lions and I'll beat Jimmy and Matcho Mick at a Nepean dirt track by years end.

Get it right, it was a Pluto Pup (or Dagwood Dog, depending on your postcode), you've got a good memory . We'll see how things roll with the rugby. With Sonny Bill gone and with Richie and the Carter the kicker bloke over the hill, there's much of their standard left in All Blackville. We've now got the two form #7s in the game in Pocock and Hooper, harping back to those pre Richie days when we also had the two best #7s in Waugh and Smith. Things go round and round and round. Remember we had 12 players on the sick list nearly all of last season which gave us the opportunity to blood the newbies. If Pocock wasn't hurt we wouldn't have found Hooper for ages, if ever. The Tahs have my old Randwick mate Michael Cheika coaching them which will sort the bludgers quicksmart. You wait, you cynical bastards .

Nothing, I like them, I like all eras of old bikes* but you'd get pretty sick of a mag full of them issue after issue after issue.....all bog  stock. I'd rather read Womans Weekly, at least it's got bra and panty ads to keep my 'interest' up.

*AJ and I are currently assembling bits to build the trickest 125 Yamaha Evo bike the universe will ever know! We're doing it because it's an engine capacity and class neither of us are usually associated with.....a challenge. How many Pre 85 or Evo punters would even think of building and racing a pre 65 Triumph?....I thought so, none of you.

This rooms getting harder and harder to please, yep that little Elsinore is plug ugly but there are blokes on here with uglier and worse presented bikes. In retrospect, VMX problably shouldn't have featured the Rockstar Suzuki RM but are you all going to take the piss forever? How many of you got the joke?....Very few, and that was Kens mistake, thinking we were all sophisicated enough to see the irony in his presenting the bloody thing. I guess in a world that's becoming more beige and conservative as the years move on you'd be satisfied with 90 pages of safe bland white/yellow/red plastic pre 90 stockers. If that's the case, we won't need VMX magazine, we'll get all the info and entertainment we need from the brochures we keep in a shoe box under the bed next to the dog eared copies of Hustler. As much as that little multi coloured Elsinore, the Rockstar Suzuki and even Hodakas and DT1 Yamaha's might not fit into what you want to see in the magazine, (or at the race track for that matter) there are many others who are glad to see the variety, whether it be good, bad or even ugly. Narrowness in attitude towards life and society, not just dirt bikes really shits me no end.

  *It's 0nly 10.20 and it's already 38 degrees, this heat has me riled up and I've got a 4 hour drive in the stinkin' fluckin' heat ahead of me..
