Being and old Heaven member but now living in melbourne and riding Viper - what are my chances of having a ride in the Canberra round? What membership / licence would I need to have?  cheers steve

Hi Steve,
It would be great to see you come along. Unless the rules have changed in the last 18 months, if you don't have a National License you can buy a day licence for the meeting. I did that the first few meetings without any issue. Best to let the organizers know for Canberra as there has been a big BBQ feed organised for Saturday night the last 2 rounds.

No worries at all it would be great to see you there. We have a visit from some Vic riders at Canberra semi regularly. As long as you have a club level licence you are good or you can buy a one event licence. You could also consider Canowindra for something different

Unfortunately it has been necessary to make some further changes to the 2013 Calendar. This year seems to have been a very difficult for scheduling with so many National and major events scheduled for NSW/ACT.

Earlier in the year we moved the Canowindra Cup meeting from the October Long Weekend to the following 12/13 Oct weekend due to the 2013 Australian Classic / Post Classic Dirt Track titles. This new date unfortunately clashes with the Bathurst 1000 car race. This in itself was not a problem but many members have indicated they are concerned with the major traffic congestion in and around Bathurst over the weekend and the very heavy traffic load making their way back to the Sydney basin on the Sunday evening. Therefore we have moved the Canowindra Cup back another weekend to 19/20 Oct. This also affects the Pre65 series

The CRC meeting at Bulahdelah was scheduled for 24/25 July unfortunately the “King of Nepean” (KON) meeting has been set down for the same weekend. While this is actually a Dirt Track Open meeting predominately for moderns there is a large Classic and Post Classic participation. As Heaven is very much in favour of encouraging more Classic Dirt meetings and the KON meeting is a very large and keenly attended event it is logical and in the sports interest that we encourage members that wish to attend to do so. Therefore we are moving the CRC meeting back two (2) weekends (to avoid Father’s Day) to 7/8 September. This also affects the Pre65 series
