pre 75 78 opens

thinkin bout building up a pre75 78 open big bore just after some ideas and or thoughts as to wat sort of engine to run in it either 2t or 4t something high hp  ;D
1977 Hagon rm250b, 1977 yz400d, 1972 gauzonni rm125, 1969 greeves griffon 250, 1973 greeves griffon qub 380, hagon eso 500.

Maico and Maico would be my two choices 8).

In pre 78 my choices would be 400 Maico, 390 Husky or RM370.

rm370 was my first choice for a pre 78 weapon in a flat track frame and yeah snow im not to much older than these 20 yr old hot shots so it'll be fun  ;D firko u got a spare maico motor floatin about for a project like this  ;)

390 Husky is a dam good weapon but more a pro bike , Maico 400 is a great choice , my fav is the KTM MC 400 if you can find one.
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

That's the one , Noel, plus a 90mm bore, 11/1 comp, 323 Tighe camshaft, 38mm Mikuni. There are quicker motors but these last a lot longer and pull ya bloody arms off !! That's if  ya can get tha drive,  eh?? Slides !!
