Thanks for locking that thread- Swiss democracy at it's best. :D
I was just trying to say that we have a very good chance to show off the sidecars in NSW for the first time in years and we should/will try for 20 outfits on the line!!
We have a chance of finding some old outfits lying around in that state too.

I've voiced my disaproval by PM on first, removing the thread and then putting it back but locking it. I don't want to get into the public sidecar slanging match, it's got nothing to do with me,  but it truly shits me when a post is removed just because the bloke who put it up doesn't like the way its heading. I thought we were over this crap.

I've already had PMs telling me I'm dreaming...... But FFS if I don't set a goal who will?
All I asked for is to consider having 20 sidecars on the grid in Sydney....it's not rocket science, it's just a goal.
AND I,don't care if we have to have them in a class of their own each to keep the anoraks happy  :D :D :D

Yes 20 pre 85 would be great  and your efforts are commendable .
Sorry for being an old anorak but it'd have to be 20 pre 75 or Pre 78 for the Canberra Classic Nats. Pre 85 for the Lakes Post Classic Nats.

20 sidecars on the grid in Sydney.

Step one/probably the hardest....finding those past title holders and outfits, while trying to dig them out of sheds etc.
Very do-able,lots of foot work/marketing ~ get stuck in  :P  :P
cheers A

Thanks for that list Ali.
I understand that the classics will need to be pre75 &/or pre 68 so 10 of each will suffice in such tough times.
They (the pre75s) have almost 12 months so get at it.
Shelpi, you get anyone south of the border on the blower.....espec Kerry.
I don't really care if they show up on speedway or dirty trackers BTW.

pre85 Nats yet to be finalized..quick get on the phone to your state controlling body  ;D   http://www.ma.org.au/index.php?id=108
Yes,depending on numbers the host club will decide when entries are in what era's to run.In the sup regs also.(page 165 of GSR's/Manual Of Motorcycling).
Need 6 for a Nationals class.
Keep your ears open right up till the entry closing date.  :P
It is short notice for travellers and shed time.
Build it up and it will grow  8)
