It seems it's the time of year, ay?? on Thursday morning, EA and I spent an hour or so keeping old mate going until the Ambos arrived.  Mobile phone comms are non existent out here, lucky we have a Satphone and rang 000, He'd pelted his K100 down the road, bigtime, as he was off down the coast on hols. All good so far, he was choppered off to Orange Base hospital and no bad news, He is a fifty something truckie working at the mines and I guess he was feeling pretty good and travelling pretty quick.

Point is , take it easy on ya Roadies , fellas and if ya have an open face helmet, burn the sucker NOW. old mate wont ever look the same again !!

PS a big thank you to the Maori lads that pulled up to help out and stuck around till it was sorted
