Yes it is very tidy, why has it got no bids?
Whats wrong with the Gagiva? yes its only 190cc, but we are not racing for sheep stations?
Do anyone have an opinion if it is  good sled.

Parts can be bit of a bugger to find and I've had to make a couple of things like chain sliders for my Cagiva cos I couldn't buy them, but with enough trawling the internet, I'm sure you'd be able to find bits. Most likely in Europe.

So brush up on your Italian C Grader, and have a bid!  ;D ;D ;D

Would this be the same bike that's been listed a couple of times before on eBay?
If so, I reckon they originally wanted something like $5k for it?

It looks nice the only bit that is a bit average is that sprocket cover but that is an easy fix there is a lot of very reasonable and cheap buys on ebay at the moment I think a lot of people are struggling and I think next year we might see even more cheap buys out there.

Most are scared of stepping outside the box. They will stick to their yz's and cr's. Scared of inability to get parts, how it goes etc.

I've owned more garden-variety bikes than so-called 'exotica', but I kinda prefer the Euro stuff and find it really rewarding to work on.

The fact that you can't just pick up parts at the local deli adds to the appeal, I reckon.  The thrill of the chase is a big part of the enjoyment for me  ;)
And there's something theraputic about having to shim a gearbox to get it just right. 

That said, I imagine this model Cagiva would be pretty straight forward to work on.
In my opinion, definitely worth the money but I also understand why most of us avoid these things.  ;)

Therapeutic? Not so much fun after the 'n'th time it has to come apart! I dunno about some peoples idea of fun......

Jealous Tony? Just cos I got lucky.... :D  But, since you are obviously phishing for a few tips, the whole affair required some liberal premix ratios using only the top shelf synthetics to get the right frame of mind established (not mine by the way). Then throw in a bit of tiedown/bondage action and there you go!

I'm probably going to regret this post...... :-\

I think that's a slip of the finger. When it was last listed it stated it was an 83 model.
