Yep that's the one , Hoony but Firko, I dont think it's an 8/80, JAP made all sorts of big V twins, I'll do some research.

You're right, Firko, it is a Highly Dangerous WLA frame , copper plated , no less, the engine is apparently known as the SS120 and is 90 x 100 bore and stroke, here is another engine from the same mob.

And here's the Aussie take on it, the Greg Summerton 8/80

I know which motor I'd take home !!

I just like the Summerton 8/80, a georgous bit of kit, Eh ?

Yup, the Hagon's ready, dunno if I am !! I can still fit into me leathers !!, took the bike for a blast in the paddock, practice starts etc , I'd forgotten how much boondi it had, bloody thing near got away on me, front lifted on the change up, too many wire fences around here for that sort of stuff, it will be a lot better at Fairbairn on the Longtrack.

Foss just to get a pic of you circulating is all I'm saying! Good on you for going for a few laps, I hope you have a ball and do it safely. Weather should be perfect for it.

Graeme, I'm havin' a ball already, what is the saying ? " The old warhorse sniffs the battle with delight"
For those of you who may not know me, here's a pic of the old girl ready for the off, and, I know, no front brake, they only slow ya down anyway !!

I built this in 1994, with the help of Barry Collyer, Spike L'Estrange and  Kenny Carrat, in finding all the frame bits, the donk is a C model TT fitted with a later 47mm inlet valve head, Ivan Tighe 323 cam and rockers, 11.5 Wiseco std bore piston and 38mm mikuni on alky.
The main things that aren't kosher Sandracer are the alloy tank , rear wheel and seat. Oh yeah the oil tank, forgot about it , from Mr. Victa

I've done a heap of meetings on it at Goulburn, Sapphire and Surfair, it, and me, just really click on the 540 meter oval at Sapphire.

See Ya at Fairbairn on Satdy
