XR75 Ko stupid question

OK Im a four stroke virgin . Q1 how will the 75 go on unleaded ? Q2 engine oil do 4t's have special oil? Thanks in advance Iain

me old xr75 goes ok on the stuff it hates it when it goes off  :o  and you can smell it, be afraid of some 98/100 octane they will put brown sticky shit threw the carby only use the proven fuels, 20/50 motor oil is just fine ive only used it in me xr for 20+ years but its doing well despite it  :D its still on std bore  :o

Thanks shelpi I used pump 91 then added some of the lead additive not knowing how she would like unleaded she ran well , I had forgoten how much fun these bikes are .

Make sure the motor oil doesn't have any friction modifiers - wet clutch ya know. Best to use a motorcycle specific product.

i've been using good old Valvoline XLD in my trusty XT600 for years,
cheap and hassle free ;)

Yep thats what I use valvoline and never had a problem ,but always keep the oil at low hours oils cheap rebuilds are not ;)
