To fit a watercooled 500?
I have a spare 87 250 tank, I will have to dig it out of storage to see what condition it's in.

Nathan only just made me aware of your post GMC....sorry if it seemed rude mate... :)

Let me know if you find one since I am still keen ....also .... can you send a box tissues to put next your pipe that hasn't made it from the showroom to my '84 KX500.  I am sick of people weeping at its beauty all over the place....

I reckon I will just collect your pipes and have them there saying ..."yeah that's for my '79 Elsinore out the back etc... hahaha!!!"

Great work thanks....

89 tank won't fit 87 bike - the seat doesn't match up, for a start.

The bit where he asked for an 87 250 tank was a big hint.

Dug the tanks out this morning, stared at them both for an hour trying to decide which was the worst one to offer you.
In the end I had to draw straws.
I gave it a bit of a sand to see if the white would disappear, it seems to.
Bottom section has been melted a bit by the exhaust.
Make an offer
