Hi, Tony here. I have been in the vintage scene since it started and have watched this forum for a while. Thought I had better get in on the act so I can get all the latest news, bull & rumours that go with vmx. My shed has things like XL350, MK 7 360 pursang, TM 400, 125 elsinore, RL250, various minibikes, Hagons and a few others. Cheers

Yep Welcome Tony  ;) If you don't mind to answer what country or state might you be in? I did like your into as it suggested another light hearted member and a varied lovely collection of machines. Cheers Tim.
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Welcome aboard TC.  ;D
It's amazing how many blokes with a great history in VMX are still coming out of the woodwork on this site.
But why is it that we have to play "guessing games" to get someone's name?
Maybe I don't worry enough about this internet thing, but on a site like this, I like to think we're all mates and don't have to do too much of this 'cloak & dagger' stuff.
e.g. Tim Derrick from Elmore. ;D
from Tony Tervoert, Tanunda S.A.  :D

Tony's a good bloke from a great family. Hows the old man going after his accident Tony? Are any of you coming to CD5? When I last spoke to Brian he was talking about hopefully being fit enough to accompany you, Noel and Pete to Tassie for the Nats. Is that still on schedule?
For those that aren't aware, the Clarkes would have to be the most dedicated (and fast) motocross family in existence. Brian has personally run three Vintage Nats at Ravenswood (as well as often winning the over 60 class) and until his unfortunate work accident last year was the fastest old fart in the sport. His boys Tony, Noel and Pete are as quick as anybody I've seen on a vintage bike and are all nice blokes to boot. The Clarke hacienda in Eaglehawk was motel central for us NSW blokes when we used to travel down to race at Ravenswood.

I wasn't suggesting anything less, Mark.
I personally, just don't understand the secrecy thing.
But also, I'm probably not as cautious as I should be sometimes.................  :-\

Once again, welcome TC.
It's amazing the wealth of experience and knowledge that has yet to be tapped by this forum.

I think in hindsight, I should have made that comment more general in a separate thread to eliminate any perceived connection to any OzVMX member.
In reality, it probably isn't a good idea to share too much personal information over the internet. I just like to view this forum like a bunch of blokes getting together over a beer, and so am happy to 'go public'.  ;D
