The mighty LJ50, wish I had one, could climb trees and never get stuck in sand.
I had a girlfriend around 81 that drove one and it was a beauty, so was she by the way.

I had one (of each), around the same time.

The LJ50 could climb near vertical walls. When it couldn't climb any further, it would just stay there bouncing up and down on the rear wheels until You gave up and throttled off.

MOTO GUZZI  started out making V-Twin tractors. (Unkind people might claim they still do! ;))   



Even PORSCHE had a shot at tractors.


1953 Porsche bi-cylinder tractor.

the  gutless little 41 litre 801 donk,14 cylinder radial.   the BMW 803 was a 83 litre -28 cylinder 7 row radial making 3950hp@2700 rpm
the Fockewulf 238 had 4-803 motors = 332 000 cc of german fun
