74 MX250 Crank Pin
« on: November 06, 2012, 12:51:05 pm »
Hi All, i just went to redo the bottom end on my 74 Yamaha MX250. I got the part number of the pin from a online parts catalog on boats.net, part # 214-11681-00-00 - PIN, CRANK (240) and the pin i got is a 24mm pin. the crank and pin i took out is about a 24.64 ish mm pin!!! has anyone seen this before? if so what would be the replacement part for it, i have found a forum talking about the DT1 360 having a 25mm pin!!! any held would be great.

Cheers Simon

sounds like you have the other crank.   all the YZ and 360Rt/MX should use the 25mm pin so you just need to fit one of them accourdingly, no bigger. over the counter think its the same as the current YZ 250 2 strokes pre 2008

the early 25mm part number would be like 275-11681-00 and if you have a 214 rod then you use the 93310-425p2 which is for the 25mm and $13 over the counter as the current yz 2 strokes still use them too
