Rd 2 of the Kiwi VMX series was held yesterday in Feilding ( Nr Palmerston north) on what would have to be one of the best tracks we have ever had in absolute perfect conditions  ;D

Hi,
you guys who live in NZ have been blessed with natural terrain tracks like that, we "West Island Kiwis" can only dream of getting to race on someones front lawn like that

Thanks for the kind words  :) that track was exeptional , the guys who run the events in that part of the country always provide fantastic venues and have a real talent for marking out superb tracks , but this weekend they trumped anything they have done before  :)

We do have great tracks but you guys are blessed with population , ie numbers at events and really cool close racing whitch we dont always get .

If i win big on the lottery i will fly all Aussie riders and ship their bikes so we can have a awesome Aussie style event on an awesome Kiwi track  ;D

I'd come back to motocross just to ride a track like that. Simply awesome. I'm continually amazed by the beauty of your little country.

Bill - woulod that be the place they ran the Vet Nats about 10 years ago?   Was the funnest track I had raced in years.
Poke that bone back in and wrap it up tight sport - I am racing the second moto.

Great photos Ira.
I can vouch that it sure was an awesome track,a great mix of technical and open grassy sections, the dust was pretty much non existent. No hedgerows or "Minglewood" tabletops, just green rolling traction plus.

Joan you would have loved it apart from needing an oxygen bottle to sustain the fitness required to last a race on such a long open track ;)

Roll on the rest of the series ;D ;D

What a great country, love the undulating Paddocks, great track, News Zealanders are very lucky to have tracks like that to ride on.
