Road gear MT250.
« on: August 13, 2007, 12:22:09 pm »
Guys. Can anyone please help!. My MT250 arrived today. I plan to register and use this bike daily. As with a lot of ebay purchaser's theirs a number of things not disclosed in auction..

I'm in need of.

wiring harness.
binkers.
switch blocks.
tailight (chrome bodied )
Ignition and Key.
exhaust baffles.

I believe XL and SL even CB road bikes from same years are same when it comes road gear like tailights, blinkers and switch blocks.

Happy to pay cash or as always swap/trade if i have parts you need/want..

I also got hold of an MT250 (1975) the other day but sorry it does not have any of that gear on it, I am undecided as to keep for later or move it on to somone else, and concentrate on the CR.
Apparently it runs but have not tried as yet, but needs a fuel tank, clutch perch and lever plus other bits and pieces.

No, but from not to far away from that one, came from cessnock, there was also an MT125 (looked good) at cessnock swap for $650 should have grabbed some more info in case somone was interested.

Red Devil is chasing me a swingarm for the CR but I still nedd some pieces for it, can't wait to get it done and ride it, my mate owned it since about 1980 then gave it to me recently, but he had converted the arse end to a trike and then lost half the origianl arse end parts.

Ok. I have a problem. Someone please step forward.

Like most people I keep little notes on my projects and whats are needed to complete them. As I get these parts I put them aside mark them as found.  I also mark them as received and paid.

Someone for forums sent me a tailight. I remember it was around the time we were informed out of our sons deployment to war in middle east, it was also time of NSW horse flue. I recall the tailight being delivered by a local whom was staying with you at this time.

My notes tell me I received the light ( And I have ) my notes do not show light as being paid. Therefore I can assume it wasnt.

If this is you and my notes are correct, you didnt receive payment STEP UP.
PM me straight way please.
