A classic arseclown, upon seeing my 73 CR 250 wanted to buy it to "transform it into an awesome Bobber" (his words). He offered 3K, saying he could get 5-6K "easily" when finished.
Are that many deluded souls in this world?
Destined to a life behind bars. A garage full of KTM's and a 73 CR 250M Honda....H7 250 Monty will be at Harrow!

You've done it now. Now some guy is going out to get themselves an XT 250, throw about ten grand at the motor, spend another few months trying to shave 30 odd kilos from the thing and then claim that it's the best thing since slice bread and back it up by pointing out that some guy in Europe got a first place in one race in a round of the 1977 one legged, type two diabetes, B grade world titles on the very same bike...... :D

Why not landfill or scrap metal at least then an AG bike that probably served a farmer well can die with dignity instead of being subjected to such cruel and inhuman treatment ;D.

If it was a farm dog you would have people marching in the streets protesting at such treatment :(

The bloke's taken an unloved model than hardly any of us would be seen dead riding and thrown a bit of individualism at them. Blokes like him that have a go at doing something different will always get a high five from this old bloke 8).

The XT250 Register of Australia will probably put a hit out on me now. ::)

I would highly doubt it, they're probably all too busy also becoming members of the lawn bowls and mobility scooter register's!  :D :D :D ;)

I can understand thinking out side the square but that is just not thinking at all.
Of all the bikes to choose for a custom road bike and he chooses these?

A lot of the basics are done??
He’s taken a couple of old cheap dungers and butchered them, stuck some e-bay tanks and Chinese shocks on them and wants to get money for his work??
He’s chopped the tops off the fork legs with an angle grinder, bought some fork caps from something else off e-bay and reckons they just need a bit of machining!!
You know why he is building 2 of them? Because the cheap shocks came as a pair.
And the mounts still need welding!

If these things sell I think my business may change track.
