2T means for two stroke, the label needs to be read to find out if it's for a gearbox or for premix.

it would be for your fuel ,shell do advance sx 2t,advance ultra 2,or the older ones where SX2,VSX2
there gearbox oil is advance gear EP 80W

I know I'm old and thick but where did the 2T 4T come from I know what it means but you got 2 stroke/2cycle 4 stroke/4 cycle where does the T come from.

for mixing with feul, i've been using it for years in all my bikes with no problems.

No definative answer but in French T refers to 2-temps = 2 strokes = 2T and 4-temps = 4 strokes = 4T , Spanish = Tiempo, German = Takt used to describe a clock cycle and with physics T is the symbol used for period or cycle. It seems English is the odd one with the word stroke where as 2T and 4T make it almost globally identifiable. Your guess is as good as mine

Fuchs Silkolene used to make Castorene R30. Not sure if they still make the R30 but I know they definitely make Castor based R40 which suits 2 stroke or 4 stroke and is compatible with petrol or methanol.
