YZ250G wheel spacers

can someone PLEASE tell me the length of the two rear wheel spacers on a YZ250G?,I need to know the length of both drice side and the brake side, any help is much apreciated!

I could be mistaken, but doesn't the brake backing plate sit hard up against the s/arm with just a spacer on the sprocket side. Try fitting it that way, If the sprockets line up you're in business.

Jastco make a full replacement kit for all the rear wheel spacers for the YZ465 (same as the 250) you can try their eBay store or go direct to their website...

Well, its done my head right IN, is the wheel supposed to sit so far off centre?,I thought the 465 had a larger diameter axle?

can anyone tell me if this looks right?

i'm no yamaha expert but it don't look right to me. my guess is if the chain lines up correctly then the offset of the wheel is incorrect (rim centre is offset to hub centre), by the look of your wheels they look like just been laced to new rims so that's my guess.

Yep, you'd be right, and it's been a real fark up from start to finnish, Chivo's just stuffed it right up, The chain lines up spot on but the wheel seems to sit way over to the left, bugger, looks like a re-spoke a comin!

Looks like you're in strife mate ::).  That wheel doesn't look flash.  If the G and H spacers are the same (I imagine they are) I can measure mine for you.  I've also got some photos of the offset of the rear rim if that helps (as compared to a CRC can).  Always a very accurate measure ;D.  Let me know if I can help - happy to do so.

just went out and had a sneak peak at my yz250H and it looks a bit different to yours..ive got my axle on around the other way...i dont know if that might have anything to do with it..from memory reason being is i always go by the book and thats what the owners manual has got a pic of ...... just noticed too ...your missing the metal cover that goes between the spacer and hub on the brake side.... :)

Are the rims Excell? I have had a few sets laced to that type yammie hub and had to have the holes re drilled as they didn't match the offset required.

Yerp, they are Exel rims and they both have new stainess spokes, obviously its a major balls up, Here is some more pics, but i'm pretty sure that its a spoke thing more than a spacer thing as the front to rear sprocket alignment seems dead in line.

It looks like the same problem I have had on my MX250, whoever laced it up did so by centering it to the center line of the hub instead of taking the full with measurement which includes ALL spacers. Mine was the other way around, it was hitting the torque arm badly
