Rubbish, you'd get a large, unused gerbil for a kx any day of the week.

Asasin.... the bottom line is that it's just an insurance value. The question really is what is it worth to you?

My C1 (83) KX250 is insured for 5G, and I ride it often. It's not enough to replace it outright in it's current condition - but it sure would dullen the pain somewhat !! *touching wood*  ....  (the coffee table)  ;D

It's probably a question that is difficult for anyone else to answer.... hence the muscats and gerbils ... lol   ;D :D ;D

I just keep an eye on the market value, you never know when a 'keeper' is going to come up for sale that you can make a quick buck on

I'd suggest probably about $7,500 at least.  ;)

Shannons to start with and probably others.  I would try Shannons first because they have been involved a bit with VMX in QLD and have put a bit of effort and money into the sport.

other threads on here cover it - I think I have my bike insured for $12.5K for around $10 per month with Shannons.
