Looking through old '71-'72 magazines I see where Circle Industries and Webco were huge aftermarket suppliers.  I have a CI alloy rear sprocket, front fender mount and fork brace for my RT-1.  Victor was another big DT/RT supplier back-in-the-day.

I've got a couple, the Circle Industries Yamaha cap currently lives on my XJ-S Jag and I've also got a Hodaka version.
Webco and to a lesser degree Circle Industries were the 'kings of bling' in the late 60's to mid seventies, making all sorts of bling bits for everything from 650 Triumph to Hodaka. Like T-Red I've got C-I rear sprockets and front fender mounts and also have a collection of a number of different Webco gizmo's. I've also got Webco and Preston Petty gas caps to fit the DT1 (and Maico, Husky, VW and Jaguar plus who knows what else )

I really start to wonder, where are the people that started these businesses back in the 60's & 70's, they must have been enthusiasts; it would be interesting to see what they are doing now, and here their stories, plus they might still have some bling kicking around or moulds/jigs to remake some stuff?

You guys in the States, can you hunt down these people for us?

Webco were a huge company in the day, making everything from stroker and big bore kits to camshafts, pistons, valve springs and valves, bling stuff for everything from Honda SL70 through to 750 Triumph, you name it and Webco probably made it. They were also at the forefront of the BMX craze in the seventies and today Webco BMX bikes and parts go for huge dollars.
Have a look at the eBay Motors listings under Webco to get a good cross section of what they made.......http://motors.shop.ebay.com/eBay-Motors-/6000/i.html?_nkw=webco&_trksid=p2050890.m570.l1313&_rdc=1
