Pre85MXWA and VMXWA Hill Climb and Scramble

Scrambling in Bridgetown the Vintage way
Bridgetown 29th-30th September 2012
Nick Maxfield and Paul Copley are proud to yet again bring Vintage Motocross to the South-West of Western Australia for the “Inaugural” BRIDGETOWN HILLCLIMB and SCRAMBLE.
The two day event, to be held on the September long weekend (29th and 30th September, 1st October) is catering for all vintage motocross bikes and will feature a “HILLCLIMB” on Saturday afternoon and a “SCRAMBLE” on Sunday.
John and Nadia Wheatley’s property “ORANGE GROVE”, which has been kindly made available for the event, has a distinctly English feel about it. England of course is the birth place of “SCRAMBLING”. The track is set on top of a picturesque hill with views across the Blackwood River and will provide many good vantage points for the spectators who will be admitted for free.
As a combined VMXWA and PRE85MXWA event large numbers of competitors are anticipated and classes will include Sidecars, Pre-65/70, over 60’s (Legends), Pre-85/90 and the recently introduced Pre-Unit class which features bikes that were raced in the early days of Scrambling. The racing will also feature bikes that were raced in the early days of Scrambling. The racing will also feature the more “modern” bikes of the Pre 85 club with the “Big Four” Japanese makes being represented.
There will be a coffee van and a sausage sizzle on site.
