Also note you can get a one off National licence for this but you will need to hurry as there is a bit of a time lead on this.

Couldn't agree more, get you post78 & pre90 arses off the couch, put a trials tyre on and come show the DT boy's how you would do it.
If you're brave enough? :-*

who said anything about" post 78?" It says post classic
I said EVO?
I can not see any mention of  EVO age cut offs in Moms
this could mean that the Evo races have some really interesting bikes racing against each other :o

C'mon Noel, don't be a pedant. We all know what "Post Classic" means, or what it began to mean just this year.
Can you ride a pre 78 bike in EVO or Pre85?
Abso ferking lutely, the more the merrier, if we limit it to age specific we may not get the numbers, I understand what you meant though and I'm sorry for the oversight..

Two days to go and the weather forcast is good but hot on Sunday.
Best of luck to all competitors and officials, not sure if I can make it out there, maybe after lunch on Sunday. Cheers, Steve

I took a run out to Nepean to have a look at the NSW Evo title meet this morning. An unfortunate ambulance mix-up delayed the start but once underway the meeting flowed really well. I took the opportunity to run some shots on my new second hand Canon EOS 1D camera and the result shows that I've got a long way to go with this new tackle when compared to the stuff taken with my other EOS. My apologies for the crap photos. I'll be better next time..honest ;D.

Photo's look okay to me Firko, I bet it was hot out there?
297 Shaun showing some good form there, is that Phil Gibson on his Elstar Jawa? his blue overalls that he's been wearing for the last 30 years must've finally died.
Any results?

It was hot alright Steve......I was expecting to see you Slidey....leave pass revoked?
Yeah, that' Phil Gibson # 63 on his Elstar Jawa, one of only three sliders including 'Our Wally' and Peter Badans on a gorgeous Hagon JAP. `

Some of my worst memorries of my childhood were having to stay out there all day, in the middle of summer in the late 60's & early 70's, when it was oiled and there was the shredded rubber everywhere.
Back then they ran more open meetings during the summer months especially when the Pom's were out here during there off season, the oil sweated out of the ground and the bloody flies.
That's not why I wasn't out there though.

Because it was pretty much a test event for a Post Classic title event on DT, how was the roll up?

Well the loser's were the ones that didn't enter or show up,

Yes it was hot, Yes we had a delay due to the ambulance going to the wrong track,
But apart from that it was a very slickly run event and even with the delayed start and water truck getting a lap every three events they finish on time presentation and all on my way home before 5.

Seems there were new name's on the podium but Terry Sayer took out Evo 125 in a close fought event.

I manage a Steven Bradbury in the four stroke support event to get Second over all

Cheers
Noel

It certainly was a hot day, after my first race I took my helmet off and went straight into the shower recess and turned it on full cold water al over all me and my leathers, body armour, the lot! It worked so well I did it after the next 2 rounds. It dried off in 15 minutes.
All the volunteer pushers dissapeared each time I wheeled my bike out but it did start in time.
No hole shots for me today, I must be getting on a bit.
Like what's been said  here it was a great meeting,  very professionally run.
 Cheers pancho.
dont follow me i'm probably off line!

Well done Noel & you too Punchy, at least you were there.
It sounds like the Post Classic side of things is a goer.
