Kawasaki KLX 250 1983 Project

My next project after the current was to be this KLX 250 - one of the most fun bikes I have ever owned over the years. This bike is in one piece. Has spark and low compression. May be a valve issue but not sure. Headstock plate is stamped 1983. Missing air box. Has a flat slide carb and room for improvement.

The bike is in Wollongong 80km south of Sydney CBD. Heaven rider.

$400.00

Hardo, I have had the pleasure of owning a KX 125 A5 and 2 KLX's all in the day. Same frame I am told. So much fun and handling. But as the CZ project is now taking priority cause son Carl said so my dream has to wait. You would look good one one of these. Bit slower too which would be good for me.

Ummmmm he is selling a Kawasaki  ::) ::) :P ;D

I had a '78 or '79 KX125 back in the day, can not remember now. Also R-Raced a Z750 and GPz1100 does that count ;)

On holidays and he still makes me work. One day he may learn how to look up things and set up a photobucket account so he can save photos.

Hardo a 4 stroke Kawasaki would look good sitting next to the KX 250. Note that it is race ready for The Lakes, no front brake cable.

Ringo can bring it along this weekend. You want it!!!!

What commission should i charge?




Would be a great project to race in under 250cc fourstroke or Vinduro.

Geez she's just waiting for the HEAVEN 4ST class !!

I tell ya what Bob .... you convince Diana that I need to take this home this weekend and job's done...   *ducking for cover*  :P

Oh and yeah Scrivo... that counts ... just this once....   :)

Buy it for Diana, she can race it in the Ladies class and you can then race it in the 4 stroke class. That's a win win situation and it's green.
Have to go to the bike shop and get some gear for the boss, she's racing this weekend!!!!
