RM125 what are these parts?!!!!
« on: August 01, 2012, 03:34:34 pm »
Hey Guy's, I have come across a couple of head & barrels to suit RM125, either A,B or C  BUT the strange thing I find is, firstly the barrel has a T shped exhaust port (where the stock A,B,C is square) and an 'un bridged' intake port, unlike all other RM125 A, B orC's I have ever seen.

Secondly, the cylinder heads have a factory squish-band !!!!

What could these be off?!!

I'll get a couple of pics soon.

The cylinder's are 56mm, they could be standard bore A models.  I always thought A barrels had a bridged inlet, ok I guess that explains the barrels but I know A heads do not have a squishband.

The 4 RM 125A heads i have sitting on the shelf with Squish bands must be specials then  ;)

Oh ok then, hmmm, of all the pics of 125A heads on ebay, none have them have squishbands, they must be B or C heads.

You wanna sell a 125A head? I want to try a squishband on my B.

B head on LHS  A head on RHS   Would sell a head but might look odd as finning area is much smaller .

RM 125A Cylinder

RM 125 DG head

Ahhhh thankyou Sir, that eplains my error  ;-)

I'd be cool to try an A head, if it works I'd blend the barrel fins to make it look ok.
