Thanks Hilly, i was hoping that was the case if i managed to swing it. its very doubtfull at best as you can understand and i am a realist, so if i miss this one there are more rides to come. i figure if i do swing it it will be held against me for eternity and beyond as sheila's do.

 2  you can alway get grand ma to stay over and help settle the new baby. grannys love that stuff
 or you can say that now that your not going  youve invited 300 off your closest friends over on that weekend to wet th babys head.

Ive been watching with great interest how you could pull this off, I would reckon your leverage is she has been pregnant last 9 months so she really wouldnt remeber what shes said in that time, just remind her how she said it would be OK to go away with the boys for a couple of days to this CD5 thingy and stick to your guns, she will start having self doubt what she has and hasnt said and will let you go with her blessings, maybe
