BIG Dog 495

Looking for parts or prefer parts bike single shock 495, Normal stuff kick stater , gear leaver, good clutch , would like an 83 head.
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

When re-building/upgrading your 495 clutch, please note that:


- You can also use YZ250H clutch fibre plates. They are nearly a fit, just had to take about 1 mm off each finger edge to make it fit. The plate is thicker by about 1mm and has more contact area. This will also help avoiding slipping.

- Clutch disks from the big bore KTM's 420/495 79-84 and 350/500/550 85-87 are same. Inner outer Clutch hubs are same on all 420-495.

Nice bike , there was a very GC 495 tank on Marks swap meet the other day for $200 , I didnt buy it because he didnt take paypal and I could not be bothers doing a wire transfer.

I dont think they do because of the oil filler but maybe you could Brad to try one and find out?

yeah definatley different to the 600 4 stroke at the front.
