castrol m shell m castor oil

use this oil with methenol can it be used with std 98 pump petrol.i buy it in bulk and its way cheaper the the rest

i used shell m in my 79 cr250rz back in the day on the old morgan mile long track with no problems and another mate ran it in his it175 d for years

As far as I understand it, there is 'Shell M' that is for mixing with methanol and 'Shell Super M' that is a castor base oil (similar to Castrol R30) for mixing with petrol.

I didn't think Super M was available anymore?

I've never tried mixing 'Shell M' with petrol before.

I have a mechanic here that is a Rotary buff and he is asking where to get Castrol R. We have been told that the Shell M is the same too so we are trying to locate some in bulk-where do you get it jing1au?

5 lt is about $70 in SA.

I think you can mix them all, but some you need to agitate more and keep mixing as after 24 hrs they seperate out in odd ratios.

umm i still have a 20 lt drum of castor in NZ zealand you can buy of TM bill.

Maxima also do a PRe mix castor oil, it comes in a black bottle purple label and runs in like normal 2 smoke oil.  I used that in my 2 smoker i put on meth
