I have just fitted a PVL ignition to my MX360A, I've set it at 2.3mm BTDC with a dial gauge, it runs great, I think the std setting is 2.5mm BTDC, PVL instructions say set timing between 2.2-2.4 BTDC for a big bore motor, have had no kick backs or motor running backwards issues since fitting the PVL, 360's are known for it
