Who are Jim and Wayne?
« on: May 28, 2012, 03:42:32 pm »
I've been watching these Astros on vft.org....the lot for sale for 8k. Well, it seems that they're coming to Australia, specifically to Jim and Wayne. Would the forums Jim be the culprit?

The Bultaco Collection is Sold. It is going for a boat ride to Austrailia.
Good Luck with your new bikes Jim and Wayne. My new Aussie flattrack buddies!

Jim's bought a fair bit of flat track tackle in recent times so I wouldn't put it past him. A lot of this stuff is coming into the country right now, compared to motocross bikes they're as cheap as chips considering what you get for your buck. You can pick up a pretty good pre 75 tracker, ready to race for under 5k landed. My last one cost me $1000. For instance....

1974 Champion YAMAHA MX360. Race ready Champion Yamaha MX 360. Comes with Stand, and extra quick change sprockets of various sizes. Fiberglass in great condition. Location – Stuart, FL.
$3500

Wouldn't surprise me either Firko but I doubt it's our Jim.
He's currently in the UK on the search for some Grasstrackers and is heading out to the Metisse factory with his Visa card and hi wifes approval, how he managed that is beyond my comprehension.

I think Jim's also going to the Antig factory and catching up with Flower Pot Ben in Bristol. Yeah I didn't really think it was our Jim...I was trying to out the real buyers if they happen to lurk here. Whoever it is it's good to have a bit more short track stuff down here.

go easy on the cheque book Jim.

There are plenty of people that can sort you out with new Metisse products who do much more for our sport.....

I know where I would prefer my money to go.
