He tries to buy the thing for thirty years and when he finally does get it he puts it up on ebay 3 months later!  ???

Obviously this one is not a keeper  ;D

It's not as though he took it with him to the moon... It's just another old 'Vette.

Pretty rough, it looks like it's been to the moon and back.
I reckon it will suffer 'Grandfathers Axe' syndrome, some one will restore it and replace so much the only thing left will be the ID tag.

Yeah, I was thinking the same, hounds the guy for 30 years then moves it on straight away.
Bet he didn't offer anything like the bids it seems to be getting.

Unfortunately I hear of this a lot.

Wonder what this Vette would be worth now?
Can’t remember if I scratched my name into the ID plate now or not ;D

My Jag was once owned by Paul Keatings press secretary 8). That Neil Armstrong 'Vette is my favourite model but that one's up for a ground up rebuild.

Seems the recently acquired family fun  76 Thunderbird has been owned by another fairly famous bloke too. Well maybe others see his ghost in it as they take one look at it and exclaim "Jesus Fooking Christ " ???
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
