Classic Dirt
« on: May 02, 2012, 06:52:49 PM »
Adrian and myself have arranged with the Husy lads to share their Marquee at CD9. A number of us will be sleeping there as the Husky lads being the sc's they are will be staying in town. There may be a few vacancies to sleep etc but what we are mainly trying to do is get as many KTMs in front of the marquee as we can. Please let me know your thoughts

What you should do is park the KTM next to the Huskys and put a begging bowl in front of your bike. They'll all feel sorry for the KTM and give money (or beer).

Actually, what you should do is park the KTM (with Husky stickers on it ) next to my old AT1. Last year they left yamaha spare parts next to it when it was lined up with your KTM's. Maybe this year they might leave KTM parts???

Shoey gets picky about "Other" bikes parked in "The Husky Area"....................

Snowy,

What do you mean forget it???? OMgoodness. The numbers of KTM brothers in the Marquee (tent in honda speak) are growing. Our numbers are small but our hearts a big. So big we even pick up fallen Honda riders and dust them off at CD events from time to time. Best you speak to Dennis asap to book your pristine KTM/Penton to secure your space in the tent (marquee in KTM speak).

Snow you can pack up and piss off!!!!
Alison I am real worried about that prospect.
PB you had better bring some KTM parts if you want a place to stay.
H Pete get stuck into anybody who derides the best brand in the land.

There's a 50/50 chance I can get to CD9.

Would an '81 495 and an '86 500 be alright to plonk out the front?

I'll let y'all know as the date draws closer if I can make it along.
