Yep that made my leg hurt just watching. Didn't look any different than the other 30 times I did that jump ???
Good camera work Ross, maybe more commentary next time?

I can only yell at Michael so much and it doesn't make any difference. He's like one of those old blokes out on a country drive. :D

And speaking of old blokes. I give Henry some fuel and then he smokes me with it..... :-[

Thanks for the Fuel Ross, big day out on a realy rough track took a toll me and the bike, I was out of fuel as well.
The track reminded me of the good old tracks of the late 70's.    bloody good fun.  HL

Must say that the track preperation was far below what you would expect for a vintage day as the holes and one lined racing showed that through the day. This also showed with some choosing not to race as the track prep concerned a few that they might get hurt as some did. What tured out to be a good day could have been awsome if the track was preped like it has been in the past .

First thanks to the MAJORITY who said the track was good or at least they had a good time.

You all know me that I would have done all I could to give the best track possible.

And if we had preped it & it got too much rain Sat it would have been like last year.

We went out (Me and Jacko) the Sunday before a decided with the sh*tload of rain that was coming best to leave it till next weekend.
Jacko came out late Sat arvo & went about 2/3 to 3/4 round (As you can see in the video) & decided it was best left alone.
I WENT BY HIS ADVICE.

I could understand the criticism if we had done nothing but we tried.

I actually wanted this event on March 18 or 25 but with all the stuff that happened (MV affiliation etc.) it couldn't happen. That weekend perfect weather & track.

What do expect us to do???? April to August at Monza is a turkey shoot at best.

I have weathered just about all I can take from the noisey MINORITY. Dont like it, dont come back.

The club lets me run these events as a favour to me, we certainly dont do it for the money.   After all costs are deducted there aint much left

WE DO IT FOR THE SPORT but the whingers are making it hard for me to step up again.

Thanks again to the ones who enjoyed it.

Geezez. I think some people must be losing the plot.
I can't believe people would seriously stand back on Sunday and say "This looks a little risky. I might give it a miss".
Maybe some people are just in the wrong sport. If the track had have been billiard table smooth then there still could have been injuries (at greater speeds and all).
A bit of bike set-up and fitness (believe it or not It's a big part of the sport) would go a long way to improving people's overall enjoyment of racing on a motocross track.

But I get the feeling that a lot of people would just like to haul their sorry bottoms about on a shiny bike in a paddock......
