Radiator flush
« on: April 25, 2012, 02:36:36 pm »
I have a set of CR radiators that are totally clogged with a white lumpy powder, a byproduct of Magnesium rott I think.
Anyone else had this problem, if so, what's the best way to flush it clean ?

i used to get mine done by Bikerads locally to me, drove past a while ago and looks like they have either closed or moved. they did a great job and i reckon you are right about the mag corrosion.

what model do you have as i have a pair of NOS 1986 rads i have never used and unlikely to.

Hoony, it's a '87 250 but I think they share the same rads...do you want me to take them off your hands in exchange for money ?
