I'm onto another lead at the moment Curly, thanks for the offer.  I think I will stick with tradition and put Excels on as the DID ones can crack sometimes.

What made you go for the wider rim ?

1.60 is stock?

Gets used mainly trail riding and vinduros widens the footprint and makes changes so much easier.

Fair enough.  I only asked because my YZ465 has a wider rim on the front and I wondered why someone would do that.  Now I know thanks  8)

Many thanks to JimG for helping out.  The hub I am looking for looks like this (I think)
I am still not sure what I have been sold with the "bike" is what it is supposed to be so please correct me if I am barking up the wrong tree.

Thanks

All help much appreciated thanks  :)

Dear Tony,
that 322 hub in the pics with the small piece broken off the outer rim,
is that what you're replacing?
and if so,
can i have that one?

I have this one

I can put the bolt cutter through the spokes.
Do want the complete backing plate as well, or just the hub?

I can do registered post to any where in Australia for $12.

The $64,000 question, to make it worth my while, what do you think a fair price would be? Or what is your offer?

I can't see any gouges or any thing missing. Assuming the drum is OK within serviceable limits? Whats the hassle worth?

Mick (Vandy).  It's all your mate.  I'll bring it to CD9 or send it some other way if you need it in a hurry.
Mick (DE) That hub looks blood close.  The backing plate looks like it off some other beast going by the brake stay.  Is it 36 spoker ?
Curly PM sent.

Yes its the correct hub. 36 spoker.

Happy to keep the backing plate.

It is mounted to an early Maico front end, hence the different stay/toque arm.

PM me an offer for the hub to consider please.

I was going to attempt a deal with your old hub as trade, but I don't like it when people do the grass cut. So I don't do it to any body else either, and this case that means Vandy. Cheers.
