Fine by me Bake, I've just had a quick lookie at the Swapmeet with no problems.

While we're on internet problems, maybe somebody will have a reason for my (and Bazza's) problem.
He's not recieving any emails I send him yet I can recieve his. This came after I had some internet virus problems and was offline for a number of weeks. Thinking it was a problem with my server (Bigpond) I test emailed all of my overseas contacts (Bazza's in NZ) and they all reported back. OK techno brainiacs,why would only one person lose the ability to recieve my emails while I can recieve his?

Sorry about the thread hijack Slakey but Bazza and I are a bit bothered by this little drama. We're currently communicating through the forum PM system.

Firko I am no expert but it seems to me that as your emails are getting through to the rest of the world the problem is at Bazza's end.

Maybe he could check first that your emails aren't being put into his junk mail folder. Then that his anti virus program hasn't blocked you due to your former virus issues. And also check that his email program hasn't put you on the blocked senders list.

What email program is he running?

I'm using Outlook,not Outlook Exress and Firefox. I used to have the occasional problem with Outlook Express so I went over to Outlook a few years ago. Thanks Shaun, I didn't think of the Junk Mail possibility, many years ago Outlook Xpress would send emails from one particular mate that had attachments straight to the Junk file. Emails without attachments from him were fine. Switching to Outlook solved that particular problem.

Slakewell  ... check your security settings they may need re-setting.
Some days for me I log in straight up and others it takes a couple of tries ....depends on how busy the site is I suppose

Sometimes I go for days withou being able to log in. Get a message saying sever unavailable. Have failed to find a solution and just wait foe a day or so and then it let's me in again. Been like this for a couple of years now. Strange as it never happens at work....whoops who said I check VMX stuff at work
