GST loopholes
« on: April 14, 2012, 10:36:57 am »
See Trademe is wanting to open up to the Aussie retailers and the NZ retailers association wants the GST threshold of $400 on imports shut down.

Shit that just rocked my boat given that all my purchasers including magazines tend to come from the states or oveseas,  maybe it would be better if the NZ retailers stopped gouging everyone and you don't pay twice as much for a book in NZ as Canada or Aussie.

Yeah I just paid $65 for crf sprocket set out USA including freight..... the $14 I pay in freight from the US is close to what they want to ship from Auckland to wellington. Hell I would pay the GST no drama if it didn't involve bloody customs inspection on top.

You can blather all you like about supporting local dealers but hell, when they have the Hollywood style store and custom F250 out front to tow the Jet skis they can go whistle.
