One weekend of sliding, and I'm hooked :)
« on: April 12, 2012, 08:15:21 pm »
Hi,
Well i had my first proper go at sliding on the weekend at HBBB on my farther in laws RL Weslake. Other then trying to figure out where i should put all 6"3' of me on it i had a blast, and was really getting into it untill the old Weslake developed an engine vibration  :( I'm guessing sitting around for over 15 years hasn't done much for the engine. So my first question is where do we get parts for old Jawa's? So far i've been told SpeedwayServices.co in the UK are good to get bits from?
My next question is does anyone have a spare diamond/frame they no longer need or rolling frame? We have another Jawa/Eso bike that has hit the wall at some stage  ??? and we would like to get it up and running again  too :)  Thanks for your help, Dewy.
